An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our staff team in our music department. Your role will be to prepare and deliver exciting and engaging music lessons and to teach and promote singing, in order to develop confidence in communication and the development of language skills, confidence and self-esteem. It is therefore essential that you are educated to degree standard in subject area. It is desirable if you were able to play piano or guitar, but we would consider other musical talents. You will work alongside highly experienced teachers from whom you will learn from and develop high quality teaching strategies that differentiate learning to meet a wide range of SEN needs in a creative and age appropriate
You must be passionate about working with young people with special needs and have high levels of energy and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate young people to learn and thrive. You must possess excellent communication and personal skills and be able to build supportive and trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
